The other day, I did go inside Musée Lambinet! But only to the newly opened tea shop where I took my Mum for her birthday! The painting on the right is Madame de Bonnefoy des Aulnais by Fritz Zuber-Buhler, ca. 1865-1870. The one on the left... well I dunno. It didn't say.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to share with your mum.
ReplyDeleteDeuxième Empire style in a modern setting. I sometimes wonder how tea shop owners make a living, selling little bits of modestly priced refreshments.
ReplyDeleteI guess the tea, cups and cakes were also very nice!
ReplyDeleteMy mum would have enjoyed this too:)

ReplyDeleteMy mum's birthday was Friday, she's 86. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see her, we'll all be getting together in a few weeks.
Appears to be a very elegant and charming tea shop. I'll bet your Mum enjoyed it a lot.

ReplyDeleteAs you probably have already guessed, I am not so much for tea rooms, but I have to admit that this one looks nice, elegant and comfortable.
