Someone did a nice job with this when the Catholic Church moved the altars out from the back wall and had the priest face the congregation. I remember the old way.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Bob! I, too, remember the old way! This is lovely and so is your capture for the day, Ciel! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful alter. Have a happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Bon dimanche!
ReplyDeleteI loved the long shot Ciel, the details are so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteExcellent image of a beautiful altar...
ReplyDeleteThe paintings are wonderful, full of rich colors, over top the warm wood. The alter looks icy cold, in contrast.
ReplyDeleteVery ornate and yet quite simple if that makes any sense. Very attractive, too. Gives the folks something to look at if things get a little boring. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo - I love you how caught the figures in foreground & background - I wouldn't mind sitting there a while.
ReplyDeleteBeauitiful! Perfect composition.
ReplyDeleteThis conveys the majesty of the Church without being overly ornate.
