'A hard day in Montmartre' by Séverine Colmet-Daage
was one of the paintings I liked a lot. Bonus photo: now that the
weekend is over the sky is blue! This pic of the palace was taken
yesterday lunchtime on my way to work from home!
Both beautiful, the painting and the blue sky, each in its own way!

I do love the painting, Ciel!! Beautiful!! And who wouldn't love those blue, blue skies!! Terrific capture! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe beautiful blue sky is just gorgeous! Rain on the weekends happens to me too...*sigh*
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the Montmartre painting . . . very nice. I would like it, too. It is great finally seeing blue skies over Versailles. Mother Nature has not been kind to your townspeople this year.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same taste. I would love to have that.
ReplyDeleteNice commute, but then mine has a monument, too. But what fool tries to sell paintings on Montmartre in the snow?
ReplyDeleteSeverine is a talented artist, the painting is beautiful! However I'm getting the blue sky and perfect sunny day in your "bonus shot"today! Thanks so much! :)
ReplyDeleteHere the same nice weather, I need to go out home today (parce que hier j'étais toute la journée à nettoyer la maison).
bisous
Léia

ReplyDeletei really respond to that painting, too.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely painting. It's good to see you have some blue sky :-)
ReplyDeleteI can see why you liked that painting. I like it too... even if I'm not ready to see the snow in person yet. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see the sun is shining there! Love those wispy clouds.
ReplyDeleteLove the painting, and how typical is the weather! Let's hope those blue skies stick around for a while.
ReplyDeleteI like the painting too! I also like your beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteI like the painting, too. Can't imagine that you drive by the palace every day! Sheesh! What a beautiful sky!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: There are many chairs and tables around the bookstore and people sit and drink coffee and peruse books and magazines. You'd love it.
Hopefully you'll have blue skies this coming weekend. I love that painting too.
ReplyDeleteUn paraneige !
