So where was I? Some of you guessed, others just looked at the title of yesterday's photo! I was in Wyoming. In Yellowstone National Park to be precise! Well, not all of the time, I was also in Montana and Washington state, crossed through Idaho and it was a terrific holiday! Back to Versailles tomorrow and thanks for your visits during VDP's break!
You've seen more of those states than I have, and they're not far away from here. So glad you had a good holiday!

Yellowstone's amazing springs! Both are magical photos and you've been on a real magical tour - what beautiful places to visit! Glad it's been a super break and lovely to see you around again:)
ReplyDeleteYellowstone is amazing, isn't it? You had quite a holiday. Glad you enjoyed it. I haven't been to Yellowstone in a long time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great holiday indeed!! So glad you got to Washington while we still had some great weather!! It's back to the usual -- gray and rain!! I do love your photos! Have a great weekend, Ciel!!
ReplyDeleteYou were that close and didn't stop by. I have always wanted to visit Yellowstone. Maybe next Spring.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful trip! What a great shot!
ReplyDeleteYour photo reminds me of the one and only time I went to Yellowstone. I was 14 yrs old and I walked right up to a herd of buffalo. Then I herd a park ranger warn me from a distance with a megaphone. He said slowly back away because they are wild animals and could kill you very easily. I think a was mesmerized by them and didn't realize how close I was. :)
Aha, now we know the "source" of your photo. Good on ya.
ReplyDeleteI still hope to see bison someday.
Big, beautiful country, isn't it? Hope you made it down to the Grand Tetons when you were in Yellowstone. If not, next trip.
ReplyDeleteSince now, I will always check the filenames...
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful part of the United States, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Ciel! I've not been to Yellowstone, but Lois has - many years ago. As I recall she said it was June and they froze in a little log cabin that had holes in the walls through which the wind blew! Love the bison!
ReplyDeleteWell look who's back! Wherever it was, I hope you found it refreshing. I wonder if the photo might be the eastern part of the state we're going to the western part of.
ReplyDeleteYellowstone, where the buffalo roam and the geysers burst forth.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing photos. I"m glad you had a great holiday here on my side of the pond! Forgive me for not getting here as often as I like. I"ve been swamped !
