Louis XIV chocolate, seen in a supermarket... Sorry, I can't tell you what it tastes like, I didn't buy any... And thank you very much to Joo who identified the plant I showed you on Saturday: it was trumpet vine!
Vu dans un supermarché... Désolée, je ne peux pas vous dire s'il est bon, je n'en ai pas acheté... Et merci à Joo qui a identifié brillamment la plante que je vous montrais samedi : la trompette de Virginie !

Well, it looks delicious, but I gave up most chocolate years ago -- still miss it!! I did cheat the other day with a miniature chocolate muffin with chocolate icing! Yummmmm!!! I should have recognized the trumpet vine, but I didn't! Glad Joo did!! Have a great week, Ciel!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful package!
ReplyDeleteLooks like something to take back as a gift for those who couldn't come to Versailles with you. :)
ReplyDeleteThis might be kinda stale, you know, if it came from Louis XIV. But then again, if it was cared for properly...
ReplyDeleteAhem.
Must say that Joo is very smart!
Well, if the inside isn't so good, the outside is a treat!
ReplyDeleteBrave woman. To pass up chocolate is tough for me.
ReplyDeleteHaha, these are brilliant! I also find it hard to pass up chocolate, and if you add Louis XIV, well, the temptation is too much to resist :))
ReplyDeleteBravo Joo...
ReplyDeleteJolies boites: espérons que les chocolats y font honneur.
I guess I could manage not to buy one, as long as I could find a French Bakery around the corner....

ReplyDeletethey look lovely, lol - too lovely to be eaten:)
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely... and I bet it sells well to the tourists.
ReplyDeleteSooner or later I will OD on chocolate, no special kind required at this stage of intoxication...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it tastes very regal :)
ReplyDeleteIf I ever bought that chocolate I'd be saving the wrappers.
ReplyDeleteI guess Louis XIV is a big name in Versailles... so perfect for advertising purposes. :))
