    Got to say it is a beautiful structure but I think it functions best when it's totally quiet inside! :-)

    The interior of this church is gorgeous, Ciel. Catching churches completely empty in this day and age is not in the least difficult.

    I agree a very tranquil place in which to start the new month.

    A good enough reason to go to church by itself. Our version, the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis, is just as silent.

    Next time---YES!! Make more time and we will go to Mt. Baker. Lovely day trip. Only about 80 miles from here. And we will have to do the North Cascades Highway. too. Let's go!! MB
