Many of our roses are in bloom, but the majority are two weeks away. I knew each of the four words . . . roses, visages, porte and fenetre . . . hey, my French is improving, so long as you stick to easy words.
Elegance that is not found in modern architecture but it's all a matter of taste. I like the glass awning over the door. So much nicer to let the light in.
J'm bien la phrase de Bergson! Une grille, des fleurs, des visages: même sujet , traité differement, chez Genie! c'est marrant.. J'adorerais (a)voir ces pièces , eclairées par ces grandes vitres..
I think I'd not mind at all living in the Montreuil neighbourhood. What a fine example of fine living!
Re your comment on The Villages...that's Lois Anne taking the pic...she volunteered. Which meant I could take the shot you see from the upper deck. :-)

A well-framed look at a fine dwelling.
ReplyDeleteLove the color of the roses (we don't have any yet). The faces above the door and windows are grand!

Beautiful! I love that kind of roof(?) above the door (I don't know if you can call it a porch...).
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I prefer - roses or door itself:)
ReplyDeleteA truly elegant facade Ciel, I love everything about it, especially the roses and the French doors with the awning above.
ReplyDeleteThe faces are such an interesting detail. Beautiful roses!
ReplyDeleteI really like this neighbourhood. It looks like a nice place to live in.
ReplyDeleteThe roses are magnificent! Classy neighbourhood.

ReplyDeleteI love both the window/door and the roses...
