PS: If the portal is not back up by the next theme day, they're doing a linky here: http://cdpbthemeday.blogspot.com.au/ Would you mind helping to spread the word?
With the CDPB portal currently out of action, Julie of Sydney Eye has created a page where participents in the April 1st theme (Cobblestones) can register their posts on a linky - there's a note about it on my post today.
Too gorgeous Ciel, I like the shutter and chimney shadows, the brickwork looks fantastic. I think we should all put in and buy The National Hotel, what a great place for all of us to meet up and have fun together oui!!
Thank for the info and the welcome to Wednesday Doorways. I figured hitting a few of the weekly themes would help me structure my photos and also know where to draw my attention.

la maison aux secrets, qu'elle est la triste histoire de la maison aux volets blues fermes ?
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful combination of colors in this photo: Blue sky, brown stones, red roof, turquoise (aqua?) shutters...
ReplyDeleteThat turquoise is very attractive against the brown stones.
Terrific building. The stone facade and the blue shutters.
ReplyDeleteEven the sky is turquoise! In the USA, our shutters are purely decorative. It always catches my attention to see shutters in active use.
ReplyDeleteThey vibrate on the brown stone but I don't know if I could live with that color. It might look better in Miami.
ReplyDeleteBlue and brown -- my favorite colors together! Very interesting building!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love is the stone facade. Magnifique!

ReplyDeleteVery charming, I like the wall stone and texture as well! :)
ReplyDeleteLéia
Etaient-ils bleus ? Etaient-ils verts ? comme chantait Barbara.
ReplyDeleteA narrow house with pretty shutters.
ReplyDeletePas tout a fait en synchro avec le ciel mais en parfaite unisson avec leur mur porteur!
ReplyDeleteNormally, I would not like that color shutter, but it work well with the stone.

There is nothing about this image I don't like. The shutters are in my favorit color--the color of the sea.
ReplyDeleteUnusual and eye catching!
