So it's November. Time for a new Theme Day. These fences are located in the palace grounds where sheep grazed contentedly on 22 October!Click here to view thumbnails for all participants Happy November! (There are spooky antiques on Artsy Versailles).
How peaceful ! Years since last I saw sheep. Please have a wonderful new month.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - love the misty aura (fairly early in the morn?)...and who knew sheep graze on the palace grounds?
ReplyDelete"Not I, he said sheepishly!"
Wow, your images are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just love the top pic showing the fence weaving around and down to the sheep. (Adore those sheep!) Nice take on theme day!
ReplyDeleteLove all the lines here created by fences.
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteThe background mist adds to the entire photo. Almost a maze of fences!
ReplyDeleteWow, perfection!
ReplyDeleteGreat fencing, caused me to realize another place I should have gone for a fence photo.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been any good about theme days recently. Too many proposals, not nearly enough time. Your photos are lovely, though. Quite a charming rural feel.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful area and nice theme day shot!
ReplyDeleteAnd why wouldn't these sheep be grazing contentedly. They are living at the palace in Versailles.
ReplyDeleteVery choice perspective of some interesting fences...it shows a lot of thought and preparation.
ReplyDeleteGreat patterns.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of fence to contain a lot of sheep. I like the intersections of the lines.
ReplyDeletebeautiful, ciel.
ReplyDelete@ Lowell: early afternoon.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully composed pictures Ciel, Like Lowell I immediately thought early morning too it must have been a misty day, love the soft light. How lucky are the sheep to graze in such a wonderful spot (well until the inevitable happens I guess!!)
ReplyDeleteI love the mist and the serene atmosphere in your photos. Superb!
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky to have the most beautiful Polish Golden Autumn at the moment - I mean, I still can only admire it through the window, but it is beautiful:)
Have a nice afternoon despite the rain!
You did an excellent job composing these my dear. Just beautiful!

You have found some really unusual fences. Nicely composed pictures...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! What a lovely place it is.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you couldn't find any more fences to post for this theme day? Kidding, Ciel...you were there the right moment and place to capture these moody pastoral scenes. Nice lines.
ReplyDeleteThis photo has such a nice feeling to it, and a great one of fences.
ReplyDeletePS - I wouldn't stay in those motels either; it's usually bad news at some point!
c'est loin de l'idee que l'on peut se faire de la banlieue parisienne.
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought that there would be fences and sheep in Versailles.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Ciel. Wish I could see those misty pastures and sheep.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful area! I especially like the 2nd photo. So much space for the sheep to roam.
ReplyDeletePerfect fences for today's theme day! But you are already into tomorrow over there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasing composition of patterns on a beautiful pastoral scene. Wonderful images for the theme.
ReplyDeleteYa Dear
ReplyDeleteReally a nice picture..........
