I remember while in Paris I took a bike tour and they assured me that we would be riding in bike lanes (since I had my son riding with me). I was quite surprised to find out the bike lanes were shared with vehicles! But it was a good adventure!
It does seem so strange to have both in same lane, but I think it must work pretty well, because..there it is!! Very much like the angle you've taken with this Ciel. Hope you enjoyed your weekend.
