Two years ago minus one day, I posted a full view of the palace orangerie with the Swiss Lake in the background. Today here are some details.
Il y a deux ans moins un jour, je postais une photo de l'orangerie avec la pièce d'eau des Suisses en toile de fond. Aujourd'hui, voici quelques détails.
De jolis arrangements si bien entretenus comme toujours!
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful. Did I tell you my husband says we are going to return to Paris because we missed seeing Versailles and several other places? I'm looking forward to the Orangerie. Some day.

Good morning from Perth, so happy to have found your images, they bring back happy memories. My daughter and I visited Versailles last year, what an amazingly beautiful area. I really love Perth but sometimes wonder what it would be like to live somewhere surrounded by such history and beauty.
ReplyDeletetonight I feel a bit like living there, as there's an Orange and Lemon tree in our garden as well :)
ReplyDeletea beautiful tuesday for you.

ReplyDeleteFabulous details in the gardens.
ReplyDeleteSo all those trees are in planters? That's mind boggling as are the shapes of the grass.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to visit here the next time we tour Versailles! What a luscious spot! It looks a little surreal...
ReplyDeleteIt is one of the places around the palace grounds I cannot forget. Opulent, elegant and simple at the same time. These are good illustrations.
ReplyDeleteBet it's a job taking care of this place. It's so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEt toujours pas d'oranges !
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a hot afternoon in July...
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning display of design and color. Wonderful vantage point to capture the beauty of this setting!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures, I'm really enchanted by the reflections in the second shot!

ReplyDeleteGreat angle from above! The maze-like gardens are beautiful :-D
ReplyDeletejardins a la française..jolis, mais perso je les prefère tout fous, en fouillis, qui partent de tous les cotés.. Là , c'est trop bien rangé pour moi!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning. I love the turquoise water with the green tree refections.
Everything looks so precisely laid out. Lovely.
ReplyDelete@ Photohunter: Glück!
ReplyDeleteun labyrinthe !!
