Lampadaire joli, joli !

This is my favourite street lamp style! Today on Artsy Versailles: a king reflected.

Et sur Artsy Versailles aujourd'hui : un roi reflété.

  5. The lamp has a golden crown. Very suitable for VDP.

Re today's photo, I bought the Guinness, set up the photo, clicked, then asked the bartender to give the Guinness to someone else.

  7. This is just a gorgeous photo from any perspective...the composition, the color, the subject matter...I especially like how the tree branches seem to scatter about the sky and the more stable steeliness of the lamp. Great lighting, too!

    You win!

  10. I think that's interesting. Most American streetlamps are the usual utilitarian nothing. However, there is an architectural trend towards much nicer design on bridges and overpasses. No idea why just there.

That's very elaborate for a street lamp! Good timing; looks like it will be obscured by leaves soon.
