  2. I bet the jeweller is very busy this time of year. I like looking into the lit shop in this photo.

  4. That which is bright and shiny may not come from the jewels themselves.

It comes from the Light that reflects upon them.

    Happy Holidays my friend :)

  6. I like the metal gate, it's makes an elegant entrance. The revolving door invites you in so you can empty your wallet on something nice.

  7. Nicely decorated. Since you were there I hope you picked up a little something for yourself.

  8. I have noticed from time to time that jewelry shops often have a fancy entrance. Makes sense, I guess. Nice light in this photo! Looks warm and inviting. I would guess that one has to be buzzed in to the shop, though...right?

  9. A very inviting and nicely decorated doorway. Love the floor and revolving door. I'd definitely be drawn in.

  10. Christmas gifts, I suppose, for those who do not understand that their are more important uses for their money. Which reminds me: there are TV ads everywhere in the US these days suggesting that you buy your spouse a luxury automobile for Christmas. Does this happen in Europe?

  11. It looks inviting. I think Ms. Ciel has been out shopping . . .

You commented today in German? My, a woman of many talents.

  13. And the door way is a jewel. Very warm and toasty. Very inviting---to buy a diamond or Topaz. MB

  14. Versailles decor looks as upscale as the store. You'll see a difference when I get around to posting Astoria's Christmas decor. Your comment about dangerous made me laugh. I'm sure it is :)

    :)

  24. Even without the sign, you can tell that what is behind this elegant doorway is very, very expensive.
