I have noticed from time to time that jewelry shops often have a fancy entrance. Makes sense, I guess. Nice light in this photo! Looks warm and inviting. I would guess that one has to be buzzed in to the shop, though...right?
Christmas gifts, I suppose, for those who do not understand that their are more important uses for their money. Which reminds me: there are TV ads everywhere in the US these days suggesting that you buy your spouse a luxury automobile for Christmas. Does this happen in Europe?
Versailles decor looks as upscale as the store. You'll see a difference when I get around to posting Astoria's Christmas decor. Your comment about dangerous made me laugh. I'm sure it is :)

ReplyDeleteThat which is bright and shiny may not come from the jewels themselves.
ReplyDeleteIt comes from the Light that reflects upon them.
Happy Holidays my friend :)

ReplyDeletei will have my post tomorrow over at http://ewok1993.wordpress.com
I like the metal gate, it's makes an elegant entrance. The revolving door invites you in so you can empty your wallet on something nice.
ReplyDeleteNicely decorated. Since you were there I hope you picked up a little something for yourself.

It looks very welcoming with the bright light, and decorations against the darkened exterior.
ReplyDeleteAnd the door way is a jewel. Very warm and toasty. Very inviting---to buy a diamond or Topaz. MB
