'Tis a hard choice at the flower market. I took this photo during a lull between snowstorms. It has been snowing steadily for hours now!
---------------------------------------
Love this. I miss buying the annual Christmas tree, but I don't miss the high prices.
ReplyDeleteSo many trees, so little time! It would appear you're going to have a white Christmas for sure!
ReplyDeleteRe clam chowder: Not my favorite dish. But Cedar Key's chowder is supposed to be good ... Cedar Key is a huge clamming place ...
I read that Europe got pounded again. I'm jealous; no white Christmas for us this year. It it common for trees to be set in split logs? Clever idea for supporting them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo. It reminded me of when our dad used to take us tree shopping.
ReplyDeleteNo, Ciel, you need a BIG tree!!!
ReplyDeleteWhich one will granny pick for the family?
ReplyDeleteI love, love love, a thousand, nay, a million times love this picture. It. Is. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteLittle Christmas trees? When I was a child the family tradition was that it got closer and closer to Christmas, my mother would get more and more upset with my father for not getting a tree and then, about the 22nd or 23rd, my father and I would drive to a seedy area along the Hudson. Suspicious men huddled around 200 liter oil cans stuffed with burning scrap-wood peddled holiday trees. Time was running out for both buyer and seller. He always came home with a gem.
ReplyDeleteWhat a hard choice.
ReplyDeleteI have been seeing on the news about the weather in your region. Brrrrr!!!
Rain here--as usual. MB
What a beautiful photograph - The weather is providing bloggers with some fantastic seasonal photographs. xxx
ReplyDeleteWonderful child-sized trees.
ReplyDeleteSuch nice trees.
The perfect tree...such a important decision! :-)
ReplyDeletePS: I'm trying to figure out what it is about my new page that makes it so heavy...thanks for letting me know!
A 'lull between snowstorms'? We got tired after two hours of snow...
ReplyDeleteI suppose the person with the little trees has to keep removing the snow to keep it from collecting?
ReplyDeleteBon Sunday! Re your comment on Colorado...the blue on the sidewalk indicates the area is reserved for "Handicapped Parking."
ReplyDeleteWhy in the world would you want to go back to school? High school?
The trees look healthy but smaller than the ones sold here.:)
ReplyDeleteCute sapines de Noel. I just love the little girl all bundled up and sporting her pretty pink boots. I bet she helped pick the perfect tree!
ReplyDeleteToday is the first day in my life that I see snow falling all day long, non stop... I'm impressed (and wondering how it will be to get to work tomorrow...).
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
These are positively exceptional! Crazy about the little girl in polka dot raincoat. Merry Christmas to you...
ReplyDeleteThey are cute, little Christmas trees - perfect apartment size!
ReplyDeleteI see that I have missed a charming series of Christmas photos. I will enjoy catching up. This is a wonderful shot - decisions, decisions.
