Un choix cornélien au marché aux fleurs

'Tis a hard choice at the flower market. I took this photo during a lull between snowstorms. It has been snowing steadily for hours now!
---------------------------------------

  1. Love this. I miss buying the annual Christmas tree, but I don't miss the high prices.

  3. So many trees, so little time! It would appear you're going to have a white Christmas for sure!

Re clam chowder: Not my favorite dish. But Cedar Key's chowder is supposed to be good ... Cedar Key is a huge clamming place ...

  4. I read that Europe got pounded again. I'm jealous; no white Christmas for us this year. It it common for trees to be set in split logs? Clever idea for supporting them.

  9. Little Christmas trees? When I was a child the family tradition was that it got closer and closer to Christmas, my mother would get more and more upset with my father for not getting a tree and then, about the 22nd or 23rd, my father and I would drive to a seedy area along the Hudson. Suspicious men huddled around 200 liter oil cans stuffed with burning scrap-wood peddled holiday trees. Time was running out for both buyer and seller. He always came home with a gem.

  15. A 'lull between snowstorms'? We got tired after two hours of snow...

  16. I suppose the person with the little trees has to keep removing the snow to keep it from collecting?

  17. Bon Sunday! Re your comment on Colorado...the blue on the sidewalk indicates the area is reserved for "Handicapped Parking."

Why in the world would you want to go back to school? High school?
