Superbes photos du parc de Versailles sous la neige. Je ne l'ai jamais vu comme cela. Tres bonnes fetes de fin d'annee, je m'envole pour les plages du sud, a Okinawa il y fait 20 degres environ...
I love, love the portrait of the adult walking with the child! Nothing is better than walking with one of my daughters, holding her hand and talking about her day at school or whatever!
La neige estompe le coté "policé et ordonné" de certains coins de "campagne profonde" du parc du château. Tes images sont en dehors du temps et du lieu. Le parc de Versailles est formidable pour les promeneurs riverains. Les enfants et les chiens y sont heureux...
The man with the little boy walking in the snow make the first shot a postcard winter wonderland scene. But, and I may have said this already, I'm glad I'm not there.
Regarding the horses on my blog: They are all working horses and all the work on the ranch is done horseback. Even though these horses are on thousands of acres they come when called. amazing to witness. MB
I'm responding to a couple of your comments: Yes, by golly, I think I can figure out the French: "Good day, as Olivier said, it is a beautiful seasonal reflection" - or something like that?
Re the fishing in Lake Sumter...there are fish in there, bass and catfish for sure, but no fishing is allowed...
It happens every time I look at your blog. As I scroll through I think, "Wow, this is the best photo yet." and then I go to the next one. Lol! You have an amazing eye. I love the top photo here - touching, beautiful, lovely colouring...perfect shot.

Probably as close as poetry will ever allow to be taken a picture of.

ReplyDeleteLovely winter photographs...and all the more so because of where they were taken! You have had a lot of snow this year!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that even though it's cold and snowy, people are walking outdoors.
ReplyDeleteSnow may be cold but it sure is beautiful and it's great for pictures. These are wonderful!
ReplyDeletePas vilain sur la photo ce pays sous la neige ; en réalité une autre paire de manche ceux qui subis . Perso j'aime cette neige sur des paysages.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the composition of the first with the father and child walking away with the fence and trees fading away.
ReplyDeleteSoooo beautiful. And that was my birthday - so neat to see what it was like somewhere else on that day!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm almost done shopping :[
I love the blue tone to your lovely photos. I would love to take a walk in this area.

Beautiful and desolate at the same time. I like the bluish tone of the images.
ReplyDeleteLa neige etouffe les bruits, couvre la nature d'un bleu delicat, et rend le monde si joli..
ReplyDeleteTruly atmospheric. Have a great Christmas. xxxxx
