Good grief, I ALMOST forgot Theme Day, having been away and then sick and all that. Hence the NOT very original photo, which happens to be a not so good archive photo. It is the clock of the palace marble courtyard. Happy December to you all! Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

J'ai FAILLI oublier le thème du premier du mois, ayant été absente puis malade. D'où cette photo pas très originale, pas très bonne et en plus prise il y a un certain temps. C'est l'horloge de la cour de marbre du château. Bon décembre à tous !
Quite a fancy, elegant clock! Did Queen Marie Antoinette check the TIME on that clock?!
ReplyDeleteI'd say this is a very good save. Are you feeling better?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteMust be something going around, I'm not feeling so hot these last few days. Don't be so hard on yourself, I think the photo is quite grand!
ReplyDeleteSo what's to complain about the picture? The monarchy's time is past but now, in the present, we can enjoy its grand excesses.
ReplyDeleteAwesome clock.
ReplyDeleteAnd I did forget until I saw your photo. Now to find a photo. I think your shot is lovely with the sunlit gold.
ReplyDeleteI agree, nice photo. I never get tired of looking at those grand buildings of yours. Hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteWell you saved yourself there. I forgot theme day altogether---until just now.
ReplyDeleteI got no memo from my peeps---what's up folks.
Feeling a little better I hope. MB
Gilt-edged time. Lovely!!
Pinch and a punch - for the 1st of the month! Do you do that in France?xxxx
ReplyDeleteL'horloge égrenne le temps depuis......et nous ramène à un passé glorieux. Le temps est là.
ReplyDeleteYou may think that it is not original, but the clock is very elegant, on a wonderful façade.
ReplyDeleteHappy December!
ReplyDeleteThe facade is magnificent!

Everything was so decorative that it took me a while to spot the clock! Hope you have more time to relax this month :-)
ReplyDeletesp pretty and elegant for theme day. feel better we just arrived home from Easter Island so we are tired . . .
ReplyDeleteKudos to you. I didn't remember at all...and I've even been commenting on "theme" day and didn't make a connection. That's what happens when you get old!
ReplyDeleteYou did well, however, with an excellent photo!
Now Ciel, I know you have been under the weather and all, but couldn't you find a "Time" theme with a little more beauty? Really!
ReplyDeleteSi seulement on pouvait avoir ce soleil !!! Il neige ici à Roissy !
ReplyDeleteNow, that's time!
ReplyDeleteThat often happens to me too! I actually remembered this theme day though. I actually had another idea for a photo. But the weather was so terrible earlier this week that I couldn't get it. Ah well... I like your fancy clock.
ReplyDeleteGood grief this was an afterthought?! Marvelous
ReplyDeleteAH! But you remembered it in TIME. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clock and facade. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm with LD. This was stuffed in the 'I Don't Know' pile? Splendid. And, I like the slant of the shadow.
ReplyDeleteStunning. Beautiful building and of course the clock for today's theme. Do hope you are fully recovered soon, Cieldequimper. xxx
ReplyDeleteDitto Bob Crowe, B Squared and EG! :-D Hope you're feeling well and less stressed. (I'm waaay behind in blogging, with work being all-consuming these days.)
