Well... I'm back from Germany and on sick leave until tomorrow. On my way home yesterday, this is what Fausses-Reposes forest looked like at the edge of town: winter wonderland!
--------------------------------------------
J'a-do-re.
I like looking at snow, just not being in it!
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better soon.
Looks like a lovely place to walk, if you were feeling well.
ReplyDeletePrenez bien soin de vous.
This is a beautiful sight and I wondered if you took this shot from a train or stopped a car?
ReplyDeleteJ'adore aussi! I hope that you are feeling better soon!
Bises,
Genie
Be well soon! Looks like lots of Europe got snow - it's all good and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDid Germany make you sick? I have read that northern Europe had a very cold November. No snow here.
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful. I would love to walk around there.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home. Lovely snowy forest.
ReplyDeleteVery similar to the amount we have had....just the right amount as we cant cope with heavy downfalls. Hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful but also very cold looking. Stay warm. MB
ReplyDeleteIt's such a beautiful winter scenery!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better today!Take care okay!

Truly magical - hope you feel better soon. xxx
ReplyDeleteThe winter is already there and almost here... Take care!
ReplyDelete«Louis» hopes this finds you feeling better.
ReplyDeleteIs this your way of saying you were sick of Germany?
;-D
Belles photos hivernales. J'aime particulierement la premiere.
ReplyDeleteJ'espere que tu n'as qu'un simple rhume...
It looks so pretty, Ciel! And I bet you are filling up with Christmas spirit.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better tomorrow. Enjoy your sick day as much as possible. :)
What an enchanting place. Enjoy your return home and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteOh it's already snowing? And I was getting excited over my fall leaves today...you're way ahead! Love the photos :-D
ReplyDeleteWinter wonderland is right! I wouldn't mind spending an hour or two meandering about that forest in the snow. That would be enough, though. It's very beautiful, but I like warm, and green, palm trees and beaches...
ReplyDeleteHi again!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Stone Creek - the main building in the center is the Stone Creek Grille (very good food)...reminds me of an English pub with big stone fireplace...
On the right side of that building is a small golf pro shop.
The larger building on the right is where the golf carts are stored and charged and repaired.
You can also see part of the driving range (practice golf range) on the right.
Re your comment on Cedar Key: I believe those two cars are older MG's...I like them, too. I had a good friend who drove an MG in the 60s when we lived in Scottsdale. I'd guess both of these cars were in the parade which was held earlier that morning.
Re your "Sodom" verification...there are some rightwing Christianists in this country who believe that everything French is worthy of the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah!
Sounds like your holiday ended on a sour note. Take care of yourself.
Looks like Winter there to me. Brrrrrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteHi Ciel! You've been gone, you've been working, you've been sick (hope it's nothing worse than the sniffles!)... and I've been an absent blogger (also insanely busy). I scrolled down and saw lots of fun stuff I had missed. I'd like to walk in your winter wonderland for about ten minutes, then get back here to the tropics. Take good care.
ReplyDeleteWow, how beautiful. Hope you're better soon. I am still under the weather :(
Very beautiful photo, Ciel. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteSharon
