The belvedere (from the Italian 'beautiful view') in queen Marie-Antoinette's domain is reflected for James' Weekend Reflections. It was built by Richard Mique.

Nice reflections. I especially like the windows -- nice.
ReplyDeleteIf you look at the photo upside down, there's something to the left of the door that looks like a large vase that really hard to see in the non-reflected part of the photo. Really cool!
ReplyDeleteNeat place and its reflection too!
ReplyDeleteI was so taken by the belvedere that I almost missed the green-on-green reflection. It's totally lovely (the reflection as well as the original). Nice image.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful spot. Love the reflection.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that most Americans know what belvedere means (or buena vista or whatever). Any view in the palace and grounds is is belle or beau.
ReplyDeleteWhat green! Another beautiful shot of a beautiful place. And what would one do in such a cute building?
ReplyDeleteA beautiful view (and a nice reflection) on a belvedere.
ReplyDeleteIt´so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
The greens are soft and lovely. Is the building a reading room or study?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and perfect. Love this----great reflection. MB

Beautiful reflection indeed! Happy Weeked!
Fascinating capture! Love the belvedere and the perfect green reflections! You always do get terrific shots, Ciel! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!

A beautiful place beautifully reflected. :)
ReplyDeleteThe way you put the reflection in most of the photo gives is a lovely tone. Great old building.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of this. Stunning and what a great reflection. Well done my friend :) Have a great Friday :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous reflection. I bet the bench is a pleasant place to sit and contemplate.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteAh, to be a queen and live in such a wonderful place.
ReplyDeleteNo reflections for me this week...but I like yours.
ReplyDeleteNot bad ;-) - but the Maintenon is a bit roomier, non?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful belvedere! And shot!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photograph, Ciel. You are the master of reflection shots.
ReplyDeleteSharon
