Another view of the French pavilion that I was showing you yesterday. Turn around and you see the Petit Trianon castle (here on the left). Those interested by a visit of the castle can click on the 'Petit Trianon' label below.

Une autre vue du pavillon français que je vous montrais hier. Si vous vous retournez, vous voyez le Petit Trianon, ici à gauche. Ceux qu'une visite de l'intérieur intéresserait, peuvent cliquer sur le tag ci-dessous.
Oh my gosh, this is incredibly beautiful and indeed "petit". Your pictures are gorgeous. I'd agree, 40 people is small, but I think that's what makes it so charming. I'm not the type of American with the bigger the better philosophy:)
ReplyDeleteAnd no, Lucky Wishbone is not the fish & chips w/malt vinegar like GB. I wish! Then I would go there willingly! More like chicken and coke!
It has been several years since I last visited the palace and grounds but I certainly remember the lines of trees pruned to look like box hedges. They are just so elegant.
ReplyDeleteIt's so lovely that I would be afraid to touch anything. Wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteI love the elegance of the Petit Trianon. It's more accessible than the Grand Palais de Versailles. I can understand why Marie Antoinette liked spending time there.
ReplyDeleteTrès joli.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, neat and orderly. :)
ReplyDeletevraiment sympa, je m'en contenterais comme petit pavillon pour les Weekend ;)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and orderly. Compact and perfect. Very nice. MB
ReplyDeleteil faudrait bien que j'y retourne visiter
ReplyDeleteI know it's quite different but this place reminds me of Bagateele, in the Bois de Boulogne...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a set from one of those BBC classics. Lovely..
ReplyDeleteC'est très joli, mais trop bien rangé pour moi; Perso, Je préfère les jardins sauvages, en fouillis, qui partent dans tous les sens..
ReplyDeleteMerci pour ce tour de propriétaire.
ReplyDeleteNot your 'typical' castle however, it's stunning. I checked your tag and you have a great collection. I'd go crazy photographing here!
ReplyDeleteIt's really beautiful, I want to visit there but I'm waiting for the opportunity to go there for the next visit of my son form Brazil. He is very interesting in Versailles and history and he is learning French as well. :)
ReplyDelete*** what a perfect sunny day in that day! wow
Léia
