Résidence à Porchefontaine

A look into the gardens of a very nice and very big condo (this is only a very small part of it) in Porchefontaine neighbourhood, yesterday afternoon.

Hier après-midi, promenade à Porchefontaine. Cette résidence est assez immense, ceci n'en est qu'une toute petite partie.

    Don't you love partial views like this? It makes a place look so mysterious and enticing. Our brains fill in the pieces hidden by shrubbery. Our imaginations do such a great job that sometimes the places appear even more magnificent than they are in reality, though I have the feeling this one is truly magnificent.

    Thanks for the information regarding taking pictures of police. Getting someone's permission each time would make taking their picture a bit more tedious, but I understand the value of it.

    Quite a lot more charm that the building you featured yesterday (but then what can we expect from the police?). The way you composed the image, the building looks like a afterthought added to the garden.

    Chercherais-tu à déménager ?
    Je me souviens avoir résidé dans un ensemble dans un beau parc à Lille, si mes souvenirs sont bons c'était la résidence du bois ; j'y ai même dégoté dans un coin le carré de menthe du gardien dont j'ai prélevé des boutures. J'en ai toujous après l'avoir déménagée avec moi la bougresse, je l'ai à présent cantonnée dans un gros pot car quelle envahisseuse !
    (La menthe = thé à la menthe of course mais aussi excellente dans le clafoutis aux abricots)
    Ceci dit il doit faire bon dans ce parc... C'est pas une résidence pour personnes âgées au fait ?
    (Vue la moyenne d'âge par chez toi, bon je me sauve, salut !)

    A propos de l'Islande, je te recommande la lecture d'Arnaldur Indridason : les cadavres au bout de 50 ans sont toujours aussi bien conservés que s'ils étaient morts de la veille et si tu le lis au lit tu as l'impression qu'il pleut dans ta chambre...

    Tu as intérêt à arrimer tes pots et si tu as des volets, des contrevents comme dit mon mari originaire de Nantes ce qui veut tout dire, tu peux toujours essayer, comme l'avait fait ma mère (oh que j'ai honte mais bon, c'est comme ça, j'y peux rien, hein ?) de coller un panier derrière l'un maintenu fermé de manière à tenter un couple de pigeon de venir y nidifier...

    And Good early Evening to you. It is going to be nice here today probably very low 60sF but sunny and just the way I like it. It rained all day yesterday in Western Wa. and was perfect and sunny in Eastern Wa. Love the differences.
    What a gorgeous peek at the yard at this condo. Looks very nice.
