Hello everyone! I'm back from a very frosty Quimper! I hope you all had a great start to the New Year (in my case, a very bad toothache!) Thank you for all your comments, I hope to be catching up with your blogs in the coming days!
----------------------------
This photo actually looks cold. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back but sorry to hear about your tooth. I suffered a similar episode when I returned from my scooter trip last Sept. At least mine waited until I got home.
ReplyDeleteI really like your masthead photo. What building is it?
I'm sorry to hear about your tooth. I hope the rest of the year is much better.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! :)
Bon retour !
Welcome back and Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteAnd we are happy to have you back and all hope you are feeling better. We are having our first serious snowfall of the year tonight, up to 15 cm, and then bitterly cold tomorrow night, -15 with high winds. Don't think I'll be taking many outdoor pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteBe well Ciel, we've missed you!
Welcome back, sorry for the toothache.
ReplyDeleteThat is an icy landscape! In my reading about the Impressionism I remember that snow paintings didn't sell well in France, so they were sent abroad.
sorry about your toothache and a happy new year of photography to you as well
ReplyDeleteWe are happy to see you back and we are equally sympathetic about the toothache!
ReplyDelete@ Chuck: the inner courtyard of the palace.
ReplyDelete@ all: it seems there's a toothache epidemic amongst French bloggers, lol, it's H1Ntooth. For my part, I'm stopping the antibiotics today and have an appointment at the dentist's tonight, here's hoping the slush won't have frozen solid.
Hi Ciel - Welcome home. It doth look a wee bit chilly there in Quimper! It's a wee bit chilly here, too...much colder than we've ever seen it! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteToothaches are one of the worst aches. Well, other than the pangs of love. Or so I've been told.
Hope you're feeling better and that that epidemic you spoke of is beginning to wane.
Let's hope you are now past the worst of what 2010 has in store for you and all the rest will be delightful and painless. Welcome home. I think it's the light on the houses in addition to the frosty trees that makes this image look so very cold.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home. I also hope that your aches are gone and that the wintry conditions are cleaned up for easy traveling.
ReplyDeleteP. S. I now understand your reluctance to share the photos with your friend.
Hope your tooth is feeling better! Keep warm and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteI hope your tooth has been repaired and is no longer giving you any pain. The photo looks very lovely, delicate, - and cold.

You can feel the cold. Happy New year to you......much happier I expect once the tooth is sorted.
ReplyDeleteTrop de sucreries? Love the new header!
ReplyDeletePoor Ciel, I hope you are getting better, toothache is terrible!
ReplyDeleteYour picture is so beautiful!
Hugs
Léia
It does bllo brrry. We had frost here this morning too. I like days like this--cold but the sky is blue and sun is shining.
ReplyDeleteI hope the toothache is stopped---NOW!!! MB
Glad you got home safely! Hope your toothache is all better.
ReplyDeleteI like frost if I can't have snow. It makes things look so delicatly pretty!
