A view through the trees towards the palace chapel. Last Sunday, there were still some leaves on some trees. Incredible what a couple of stormy days can do...------------------
Une vue vers la chapelle du château au travers de ce qui reste de feuilles, dimanche dernier. Après quelques jours de vent fort, les feuilles ont presque disparu...
The light is beautiful - bright, cold streaks through the shadows. Appropriate for the season.
ReplyDeleteLiterally a Stormy Monday... The sky in the first photo is so dark that it's hard to recognize the atmosphere of the place, usually bathed in sun. It isn't bad even with this light, only different.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful contrast of light and shadow here...that storm cloud over the palace chapel is extremely menacing, and I see it as a threat to the light that bathes the front of the scene as you emerge from the trees.

ReplyDeleteQuel magnifique ciel avec le contraste de la tourmente et la lueur sur la façade claire. On se sent comme les feuilles un peu balottées. C'est curieux, les feuilles vont toutes y passer et pourtant on n'y croit guère. Ensuite le printemps va revenir lorsqu'on aura oublié ce que le vert signifie dans le paysage...

Beautiful shot through the trees. Trees can be wonderful frames. We are having cloudy, windy and rainy days but an occasionally almost sun break. MB
