The reason for yesterday's flowers is that three beehives have been set up in the grounds of Madame Elisabeth's orangerie! Someone's having a ball!
-------------
La raison d'être des fleurs postées hier, la voici ! Trois ruches ont été installées et je peux vous assurer qu'abeilles et bourdons s'en donnent à coeur joie !

I suspected it... Some buffet lunch!
ReplyDeleteTalk about throwing yourself into your work! He really is a busy bee. Do they sell the wildflower honey?
ReplyDeleteThat is one happy bee! Will you be able to purchase the honey? Local honey is so good and so good for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat great colors! I think the bees are being busy as bees can be!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a bumblebee that I was watching the other day going into the flowers. Igot some picture but I forgot about them. Thanks for the reminder. ;-) I think this one is nicer than mine.
ReplyDeleteI like the macro for this. such vibrant colors and detail in the bee and flower. He dives in head first! Thanks for all of your wonderful comments about the phoenix skyline photo and solar eclipse photos. Your comments were much appreciated. I am trying to improve my technical ability and the solar eclipse was a bit daunting and I was fearful of not getting any decent photos so I was very lucky and was prepared enough to take advantage of the eclipse through photos. I hope all is well. Also, we now started a new travel photo site so if you like fabulous photos, especially of people -one of my favorite subjects when I travel- check out www.vivalavoyage.com. We just posted photos from India, quite a magical place for photographers. We will post travel photos every Sunday. TTYL

ReplyDeleteBeautiful bee shot! Great capture, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo. I bet it creates quite a buzz.
ReplyDelete@ Karen and BaysideLife: Unfortunately, I don't think the honey is sold as Madame Elisabeth's honey. :-) They have only been set up this year though, so maybe it'll be on sale at the market next year?
ReplyDeleteApres tout ca, je crois que ton abeille sera un peu bourrée ! J’espère que personne ne lui demandera de souffler.
ReplyDeleteMagnifique photo… je n’aurais pas eu le courage de me mettre si près.
It's wonderful to take care of bees. They need our help right now, and we need them!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot! Bravo!
