Maybe I should start a business. Versailles bags and tee-shirts... I think there's far too much Paris stuff everywhere!
----------------------------------
Peut-être que je devrais me lancer dans les produits dérivés. Des sacs et tee-shirts Versailles. Il y a beaucoup trop d'intrus parisiens dans cette ville !

Oui! «Louis» agrees! Versailles should get at least equal time to Paris!
ReplyDeleteOkay! Do you need a partner? Let me know when you have a business plan put together and hey, we'll talk!
ReplyDeleteHow about a Versailles/Paris shirt (Versailles comes first, naturally!)
You could reference Versailles and conspicuous consumption (think Louis and Marie).
ReplyDeleteIt will never work, too many letters in Versailles.
ReplyDeleteDon't do it, Ciel! Having your own business is too stressful...and you might not have enough time to take photos and blog. That would be very sad. ;-(
ReplyDeleteGo for it! Why not? from your pictures Versailles looks like a great place.
ReplyDeleteOn my blog You said
"petrol and environmentally friendly are new to me!"
I said it's environmentally friendly because it was closed down. :-) Maybe someday they will close them all and use something better?
I say go for it! Sounds like a good investment to me. Will you be selling stock in your company ?
ReplyDeleteYour photos would look good on those bags!
ReplyDeleteSorry to be the 'traitor' here, but I stand (quite) firmly on the Paris side. And hate all those gadgets!
ReplyDeleteI think you have so many beautiful shots, you should create / make your book to be sold from very nice and special places, not like the ordinary guidebooks. Show REAL photographs of REAL life.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, keep up the good work and enjoy the rest of the weekend.;-)
Comment dire je t'aimes à une ville...
ReplyDeleteLove those colors---they just pop out at ya. MB
ReplyDeleteUp with Versailles!
ReplyDeleteGreat one....This business will surely be in profit...Unseen Rajasthan
ReplyDeleteA very eye catching subject indeed. We have the same problem in London, all of the souvenirs/postcards represent central London, very rarely other parts or the suburbs or the small towns nearby!!!
ReplyDeletewow I want that " sac rouge"!
ReplyDeleteCool picture!

Bonjour Luxembourg
I'd gladly use one of those totes. In fact, I'll take one in each color. I also love the idea of incorporating your photos into the mix. Your night shot yesterday was hauntingly beautiful, CQ!
ReplyDeleteHehe maybe:) Interesting capture!
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful bags....Barb
ReplyDeleteGreat color.
ReplyDeleteYou can see Parisian tote bags on the streets of St. Louis, for heaven's sakes. Yes, strike out in a new direction!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the bags but unfortunately they are probably made in China.. so if you do bags for Versaille.. please have them made in Versaille. Then I will buy a bunch of them to gift my friends.
ReplyDeleteOnly 8 more weeks and I'll see your wonderful Versaille in person.
I think my high school French teacher, Madame Assardo, would kill someone for a bag like that! However, the bag would have to match her high heel shoes and glasses....
