Thank you for the warm welcome! Back in Versailles, with a photo taken three weeks ago. This building is unusual for Versailles, but I like it a lot! It's also a favourite shopping place of mine!

De retour à Versailles avec une photo prise il y a trois semaines. Cet immeuble est inhabituel pour le centre ville, mais je l'aime bien - tout autant que j'aime aller y fouiner !

Absolutely lovely: the square turret is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThe shape of this building is amazing. I wonder what the rooms look like inside. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt is like a building called the Flat Iron building. I think that is its name. See it here > http://www.flickr.com/photos/joits/492125179/

I like the building too. it looks very 'French'.
ReplyDeleteIs it unusual because it's not a palace? I like it too.
ReplyDeletej'aime beaucoup, cela fait penser aux vieux immeubles parisiens autour de la place de la nation. Dépêche toi d'y retourner, c'est la dernière journée des soldes ;o))
ReplyDeleteInteresting sort of a tower. What would you be shopping around here?
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful blue sky! Great shot

Bonjour Luxembourg
@ Per: I go there for home furnishings and decorating!
ReplyDelete@Clueless: because it isn't 18th century!
@ Abraham: how many Flatirons are there? ;-)

Super looking building. There are a few similar ones in Seattle. I always called them corner or triangle building. I don't know why--I just made it up. LOL MB
ReplyDeleteSeems like most big cities have a 3-cornered building. They are so practical and have such character!
ReplyDeleteDid you buy anything here during les soldes? I love learning about Versailles through your photos!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful building but even more amazing, it's not raining.
ReplyDeleteJ'adore le ciel. Il est tellement bleu!
ReplyDeleteThis building is very original and makes impression! I like the roof, it is so interesting!
ReplyDeleteRegards,
m_m
I also like this building, the top is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThe details of the architecture are wonderful, but my favorite things are the bright colors behind the windows and the bright blue sky. Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteWonderful building. This the same building that Jacob from Ocala Daily Photo posted in his Paree blog yesterday. What a coincidence. :-)
ReplyDelete@ James: thanks! I have to say that I don't visit Paree very often... ;-)
ReplyDeleteFabulous building - c'est formidable!
ReplyDeleteWonderful building. I love the colors against the blue sky.
