  3. Not very different from my bedroom. In particular we share same baldachin ;-) --- I really love the chandelier switched on contraposed to the daylight coming from the window

  5. Some of the design has carried over from the Palace, obviously - which makes sense. Wouldn't you enjoy going back in time, at least for a little while and experience what life was like back then (for a little while!)?

The bedroom reminded me just a tad of the bedrooms at the Seven Sisters Inn...well, not the colors, exactly...or maybe not at all.

    Peace!

  13. excellent photos to capture the style and ambience of marie Antoinette. I like the staircase from yesterday also. I am glad you enjoyed the dancing Chihuly on my site today. It was hard to capture it just right so it looked like dancers. I am also glad you enjoyed the resort photos at the Scottsdale Fairmont. Definitely a nice place to enjoy too.

  17. Wow very unique and original. Don't see anything like this anymore. Everything is so modernized and streamlined. We lost so much character over the years.

  20. What a lovely place! That is one thing I love about Europe - visiting the stately homes of royalty and other famous rich folks. It's so awe-inspiring to see how they lived even then.
