VDP has walked past these windows for years and always forgot to take pics of the plastic flowers... These windows are just barely visible on the right of this former post.
Cela fait des années que VDP passe et repasse devant ces fenêtres en se disant qu'il faudra les photographier... C'est chose faite. Les fenêtres sont tout juste visibles sur la droite de la photo de ce billet de 2013.
At least they don't lose their colour!
ReplyDeleteAnd beats watering.
ReplyDeletePlastikblumen sind nicht mein Ding, auch wenn sie noch so echt ausschauen...
ReplyDeleteje déteste ces fleurs en plastic !
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you the things I never even noticed until I took up photography. Plastic flowers work for me :).
ReplyDeleteSave a fortune in watering Ciel.. Oh hang on, that would be here where we don't have much rain :) Must admit I was surprised to see plastic fleurs in Versailles :)
ReplyDelete"Plastic Fantastic" can be cheerful, but I do like REAL FLOWERS better.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy spring and have a nice day!
Faded ones are quite sad...
ReplyDeleteThey add a bit of color around the window.
ReplyDeleteThe plastic flowers don't look bad in your photo, but I'm usually no fan of these. WIth age they look tawdry and cheap, but your photo is just fine.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother always put out plastic tulips in the spring - she had the first flowers in her yard and they lasted the longest of everyone's! ;-))
ReplyDeleteIt's important to capture the little details, for one day, they will disappear ...
ReplyDeleteWell, not my sort of thing to be honest with you.
