Another contender for the December CDP Theme Day was the window of Le Studio Hifi Denis Beau! Do you remember creaking LPs?
Une vitrine qui a attiré l’œil de VDP et aurait pu être choisie pour le thème du 1er décembre, c'est celle du Studio Hifi Denis Beau ! Vous vous souvenez des 33 tours qui craquaient ?
I do remember LPs. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes LP's, EP's and singles....ah those were the days :)...
ReplyDelete33, 45 et même 78 dans mon grenier !!!
ReplyDeleteHer Majesty was a tad younger back in the days we listened to LPs.
ReplyDeleteHRM is looking young and chipper here Ciel :) LP's, yup I do remember them!
ReplyDeleteLP's are making a comeback, especially for the connoisseurs as they have "a warmer sound". Wasted on my ears though.
ReplyDeleteAre you suggesting a parallel between Her Majesty and the vinyls?
ReplyDeleteYes, I do remember LPs. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhy yes I do! I still have a stack of them at my house and no way to play them unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteBack in the early 70s, I wrote a "Record Review" column for a local rag. As a result I got demo copies of new LP releases. At one time I had a couple thousand records. We trucked them around for a while but they are very heavy and eventually I gave them all away. :)
ReplyDeleteTu peux t'imaginer les nôtres après leurs haltes en Arizona et en Californie!
ReplyDeleteLong life to the Queen!
I still have most of my old LPs and Doug has a turntable on which to play them. Long live the vinyl LP,
ReplyDeleteI remember them very well.
ReplyDeleteShe's looking quite alert, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteHi Ciel! You are the only one so far who noticed that is a statue of a horse! :) Kudos to you.
ReplyDeleteShe's looking regal as ever!
ReplyDeleteWhy of course I remember LP's, I have some in the basement that I listen to on a fine old tube amplifier. Vinyl is making a comeback in the states, but I haven't bought one in ages.
