    Lovely pictures, you've captured all the atmosphere, I love finding signs with really old dates on, a very unique and beautiful place you live in...

    The French trading post that started this place was started in 1764. Just two numbers flipped but I guarantee you there is nothing left from then.

    Beautiful place. That date on the door is amazing to me. We are lucky if we find buildings that go back to 1950 here. :-)

    The fountain is pretty intricate. It looks like two serpent heads joined where the water would come out.
