VDP loves this old building. It has been a
paint and various other interior decoration items wholesaler named
Paille for a long time it seems and still going strong...
VDP adore l'immeuble du grossiste en peintures et autres outils et matériels de bricolage et de déco intérieure Paille.
It is a building with a whole lot of character!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous old building, I love it. I want to live there..
ReplyDeleteLooks kind of like one of our really old hardware stores here.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice! I like the color of the brick.
ReplyDeleteNice that it is standing the test of time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful detailing on the building...and I love those tall, tall doors.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful old building!
ReplyDeleteLots to love about this old building!
ReplyDeleteLove that first building.
ReplyDeleteIt has a bit of an art deco look to it. I like it.
ReplyDeleteLovely, but I wonder how they used "fats" in decorating. They must be good to have been in business all this time.
ReplyDeleteI love it too! Especially those old-timey signs made with tiles (at least it looks like they're made with tiles). Very charming.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful building, and also the new wing is quite good!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a nice building. Old is good.
ReplyDeleteelle est belle cette façade...j'espère qu'elle est classée !
ReplyDelete@ Dave: in this case, 'graisses' translates as 'grease' which should make a little bit more sense!
ReplyDeleteFull of character!
ReplyDeletepreference pour l'ancien, superbes enseignes en mosaique
ReplyDeleteInteresting building. I like to see businesses stay in business. Here they come and go so fast you never know what to expect!
ReplyDeleteThis paint shop is way more attractive than the paint shop I'll be visiting very soon, three rooms in the house still to paint :)
ReplyDeleteI like it too. Nice signage.
ReplyDeleteI love the signage on the old building, too. Works of art themselves.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, i love it too, and that advertising! it is super!
ReplyDeleteI love it too, it has tons of character and the signs are really nice.
ReplyDeleteFunny, but many of the buildings I like often have a 'blue' door.
ReplyDeleteLove the old signs!
