The food looks tempting and the chairs look too comfortable!
ReplyDeleteVERY comfy looking chairs.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fabulous...
ReplyDeleteI'm starving and this looks so good, Ciel! I better go and eat something.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe bread and wine sounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteI'd certainly give it a try but no bacalao, please. Salt cod dry and thin as paper. You can do better.
ReplyDeleteOh my, my mouth is watering. The place looks so inviting and the food looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly know how to photograph food! This looks like a great place!
ReplyDeleteWhat about a Fado singer to make the saudade complete. Lisbon is a fabulous town, can not understand how one can move away and leave.
ReplyDeletePortugeses fish dishes are fantastic. I dont like sitting in low chairs and eating though.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful restaurant and the food looks delicious!
ReplyDeletetu donnes envie d'y aller
ReplyDelete@ Dave: I don't either. Good thing that there are normal chairs in the restaurant!
ReplyDeleteYou know how small Portugal is, with its population of just 10 million, but the variety from north to south in what concerns landscapes, climate, architecture and food is amazing. Foreign tourists love the food and you can see thyem "licking their fingers" in restaurants! :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know the wine you chose but the Douro Valley is one of our best wine regions which was granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
That restaurant is called "saudade". There is no translation for such a word but it means longing/yearning.
Glad you enjoyed it! :-)
That is a very relaxing looking place, with mouthwatering looking food too!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a plan!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun photos of food. And I even like the wall.
ReplyDeleteSchaut gut aus, rück mal was rüber ;-)
ReplyDeleteEvocative name, great cuisine, lovely place!
ReplyDeleteSaúde! to all
ReplyDeleteJose is on his way. The only problem I see is that the seating is kinda tight. I hate to share my conversations with a half-dozen other diners. :)
ReplyDelete@ L., you'll have a hard time finding somewhere to eat here then! ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrès très appétissant
ReplyDeleteI could be overstuffed, just like the chairs :-) Great foodies!
ReplyDeleteYou eat some of the most delicious-looking food!
ReplyDeleteI think I can go get some wine, but I doubt that I can match the ambiance and menu.
