Me again. I was wondering if anyone would mention The Doors when I titled my post. I know Jim Morrison died and is buried in Paris. He also lived here in Tallahasse for a couple of years while attending Florida State University. There is even a photo of him after being arrested once by police here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Morrison#/image/File:JimMorrisonMugShot1963.jpg

ReplyDeleteInteresting room.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe actual people fit in those beds. We need to know our origins but I like my modern comforts.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but that bed is far too small for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, it is very nice and very special but the furniture can only be described as "elegant discomfort"!
ReplyDeleteFunny comment about bagels. Really?
I could be really happy living there!

I really like these kinds of museums where you get a glimpse into life back then. Interesting series.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly were advanced for their time, a lot of modern comforts in spite of it being 250+ years old.

ReplyDeleteI love it - I feel like I'm spying on the Royals of Yesteryear.
