Last Saturday, VDP had the great pleasure of attending a conference by Hervé Ternisien, photographer extraordinaire, who came to talk about the year he spent in the gardens and park of Versailles palace, in all kinds of weather, to photograph their beauty through the seasons. He spoke so passionately that it was a pure delight! Do yourself a favour and follow this link to his website to enjoy some of his absolutely stunning photographs of the palace garden and parks. They are so gorgeous that a bilingual French-English book has just been released which would make a beautiful Christmas gift for any Versailles lover! Though apparently not yet available on Amazon.com, it is purchasable on Amazon.co.uk and on the palace's online shop!
