While walking around Prés aux Bois neighbourhood which VDP has been showing you over the last couple of days, she came across this fellow...
En se promenant dans le quartier Prés aux bois que VDP vous montre depuis deux jours, elle a fait une rencontre...
Now the problem with this area is that it isn't located only in Versailles but also in the neighbouring city of Viroflay. The two cities are so close that VDP can't tell them apart!
Le problème de ce quartier, c'est qu'il est commun aux villes de Versailles et de Viroflay, si proches ici qu'il est difficile de savoir dans laquelle des deux communes se situent les maisons !
More of a silhouette than a cat. :-)
ReplyDeleteMeow! What a pretty cat.
ReplyDeleteChat noir, mauvais présage? I hope not!
ReplyDeletePretty kitty and more of those nice shutters!
ReplyDeleteCareful, you will have that at the VDP palatial estate!
ReplyDeleteI love those colorful shutters.
ReplyDeleteThis neighborhood has loads of charm. I would wander around there.
ReplyDelete(I spotted the balloon couple walking across the plaza with the photographer who was going to pose and shoot them . . . I took a few exploratory photos, then when they got to the place where their photographer wanted them, I rattled off 5 or 6 fast ones.)
That is one handsome kitty!
ReplyDeleteApparently people dont want black cats and Cat Rescues have difficulties re homing them.

ReplyDeleteBe careful or the CDP police will catch you outside your city! Of course, my definition of my town is everywhere I can reach by bike! As you will see this week (I hope).
ReplyDeleteYour new friend knows how to strike a pose!
ReplyDeleteDiese Katze ist so schwarz, dass man nur mehr eine Diese Katze ist so schwarz, dass man nur mehr eine Silhouette sieht...
ReplyDeleteSchönes Wochenende, Ciel !
I'm a big backer of black cats. I had one called Saskia.
ReplyDeleteBlack cats bring good luck, don't they?
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletesweet kitty. I like the house with shutters. MB
That speck smack dab in the middle is Bob. Good eye!!!!
ReplyDeleteMB
That is exactly the way it is here. You don't know when you left one city and entered the other unless you look for the signs and then those are only on the main roads.
ReplyDeleteIs it bad luck to have a black cat cross your path?
ReplyDeleteSome people here think so. They also believe the earth is flat.
Property lines are movable and flexible. But if you have to go into another city to use your kitchen, it could definitely be confusing.
si tu ne sais pas où tu es : c'est la faute au chat noir
ReplyDeleteLooks like they want to make sure you to know you've crossed the boundary.
ReplyDeleteJ'adore le chat noir and his shadow also :). So Ciel all the beautiful shutters.. were they in Versailles or ..the other :) It doesn't really matter they are still fabulous..
