This is a quaint little alley off Notre-Dame neighbourhood's Ermitage street. VDP has no clue what the building at the end (pictured below) might be or have been...
Une petite ruelle de la rue de l'Ermitage dans le quartier Notre-Dame. VDP n'a aucune idée de ce qu'est ou a pu être le bâtiment tout au fond (zoomé ci-dessous). Quelqu'un saurait le lui dire ?
Strange.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it was, it could be a firetrap now!
ReplyDeleteWeird! now you have to find out. MB
ReplyDeleteWow, that is quite unusual. You can't really tell if it's coming or going.
ReplyDeleteI like that alley shot!
ReplyDeleteThat alley looks a little to small for cars to park, but I saw some in Paris where cars actually were parked in streets/alleys not much larger than this.
ReplyDeleteRe the building in back: In another setting, such as the wilds of Wyoming, I'd think it is an old barn that has disintegrated over the years.
There is no place that looks like this - top or bottom - in North America. Our alleys are charmless.
ReplyDeletedans les années 70 il y avait à l'angle de la rue de l'Ermitage une petite clinique...c'est là que mes enfants sont nés !
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering what the person is running to or from?
ReplyDelete@ Halcyon: running home after having given the binmen a trash bag...
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I never expect to see ruins on this blog, Ciel. ;))
ReplyDeletePray tell. Is it going up or coming down. It's quizzical.
ReplyDeleteThe back is very, very ,very slowly getting better.
ReplyDeleteHow about you?

ReplyDeleteVery neat alley, I don't often see these. Strange building.
ReplyDeleteI'd send Mr. Hawk your way, but I'm not sure i could find a box big enough to put him in.
Lovely street, strange building...
ReplyDeleteThe building looks like it is on its way out!
ReplyDeleteen tout les cas l'homme semble être parti pour s'en occuper
