Ah! The house is so beautiful... We used to have hollyhocks in our house when we were kids, I do not see them at all now that I am in a city...such a loss! -- An empty corridor...
Such a pretty street scene Ciel..I bet the cobbles are hard to walk on in heels :) Wonderful macro last shot, I just love the complexity of the inner bloom.
Look at you going macro on us, it's great!! I love the street scene in the first shoot, very charming. Perhaps it's blogger or my G&T is a bit too strong, but my comments seem to be disappearing.

ReplyDeleteIs there a secret to growing healthy hollyhocks? I finally gave up. But I definitely would love to live in that cottage with hollyhocks by the door.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall ever seeing them here. They're beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love them, Ciel! They remind me of my grandmother who always grew them.

Wow, beautiful flowers. I've seen a few growing here but, not too many. These have such a luscious color.
ReplyDeleteVues aussi au bout de la rue Royale. Ça donne un air campagne/vacances a Versailles, et avec cette lumière! J'adore!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy this simple flower where ever I might find it.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous color !
ReplyDeleteI keep envying you for the variety and the beauty of the flowers around Versailles...
