The 7 of heart rugby tournament was held under the patronage of Henry Chavancy, French rugby XV player and Isabelle Ithurburu, TV sports presenter. The photos aren't too good because VDP was far away (and argghhh can't run!!!)
More action shots, sorry, told you VDP was a rugby fan!
And finally, the sky above Versailles before it poured!
Great, colorful action shots, Ciel, next best thing to being there!! Love the skies in the last shot! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteYep, some serious looking cumulus clouds building up there.
ReplyDeleteSome fine images here. Ithurburu is an unusual name. Where is she from? And, it seems that you have been having walking problems for quite a while. I know that you stumbled when visiting Livorno. What did you do to yourself?
ReplyDeleteNothing better than people shots (unless it's people-in-action shots).
ReplyDeleteGood on ya for getting out and about as best you can.
@ Jack: it is a Basque name, in her case from the French Basque country! Thanks for noticing!

ReplyDeleteI think that you're doing brilliantly Ciel.. Can just imagine how fab you'll feel when all healed again :) Love the rugby shots, like I said before big men, small shorts :)
ReplyDeleteYou got some great action shots even if you were not up close. MB
ReplyDeleteYou got some fine pictures anyway!
ReplyDeleteHope your ankle gets better soon, it must be frustrating at events like this. Love the action shots though! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing a bumper sticker that said "Rugby players eat their dead!" These are tough people!
ReplyDeleteWhen we moved here (in 2008), I was shocked to learn how much the French love rugby... I thought it was an English thing. Who knew !?
ReplyDeleteIsabelle certainly catches my eye!
ReplyDeleteEven though you can't run, you are taking interesting photos, Ciel!
