Last Saturday, there was an awful lot happening in the grounds of Madame Elisabeth's estate, lady whom you will remember from previous posts...
Samedi dernier, il se passait plein de trucs dans le domaine de Madame Elisabeth au sujet de laquelle vous vous rappellerez les billets précédents...
Now I am really envious - we are months away from such sights here! I especially like the shot with the lantern, Ciel.
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful!! We do have flowers blooming and trees almost ready to leaf-out, but not as gorgeous as these!! Superb captures, Ciel, as always!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteBlooming forsythia, for me, seem like the first sure-fire signs of spring. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any yet--except in your photo. :-)
ReplyDeleteSpring is a-poppin' all over the Madame's estate! We had a tree like that in our backyard at the old house but we called it something else and our magnolia trees have a different flower. It's very beautiful. I think I called it an orchid tree but that's not correct.
ReplyDeleteThe colors you've presented are very nice and I'll bet the scent wafting through the air is also very nice!
気候がパリと日本の名古屋同じですか?同じ花(日本名 こぶし)が私の庭でも咲き始めました。桜も咲く季節になりました。
ReplyDeleteC'etait tres belle, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteI hope my French hasn't gotten too rusty...
That is a beautiful sight to behold! We are getting warmer, but no blooms such as these!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great time of year in the garden! Magnolia and forsythia!
ReplyDeleteCould Versailles have beaten Birmingham on the magnolias? Virginia would be livid.
ReplyDeleteSo much color and beauty.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, it's a true cornucopia of spring! Those magnolias, sigh... Utterly enchanting - I can't wait for spring to spring here!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, and very welcome. But best in other peoples gardens as they are big plants.
ReplyDeleteWow! Love the magnolias especially. It was summerlike yesterday and now the skies are back to typical gray. But it's not too cold at least.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors. Good thing you caught them before the rainy season started !
ReplyDeleteA sure sign that Spring has sprung. Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteSpringtastic!
ReplyDeleteGreat Spring photos, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
Lucky you! You've got SPRING!
ReplyDeleteJ'adore the magnolia, Madame Elizabeth's jardin est superb !
ReplyDeleteI have to find something like this, but it won't be easy around here...
ReplyDeleteLots and lots of blooming going on there. It must smell wonderful walking in this area.
ReplyDeleteHi Ceil: Re your comment on Cedar Key...there's hardly ever anything going on at that beach. Sometimes a few little kids playing in the sand but that's about it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday!
Oh the Magnolia is so beautiful and how you arranged the pic is perfect. I do love any forsythia. Nice Springy images.
ReplyDeleteIt does make one feel better.

Oh, the magnolia and forsythia are soooo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever warm up enough for spring here. One day it's warm, the next day we're back down to freezing or below. We're not to go above 32-35 F until Thursday of this week. We even had spits of snow this afternoon.

Here Magnolias are covered with new leaves, no longer blooming.
