Last Saturday, there was an awful lot happening in the grounds of Madame Elisabeth's estate, lady whom you will remember from previous posts...

Now I am really envious - we are months away from such sights here! I especially like the shot with the lantern, Ciel.

ReplyDeleteBlooming forsythia, for me, seem like the first sure-fire signs of spring. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any yet--except in your photo. :-)
ReplyDeleteSpring is a-poppin' all over the Madame's estate! We had a tree like that in our backyard at the old house but we called it something else and our magnolia trees have a different flower. It's very beautiful. I think I called it an orchid tree but that's not correct.

ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever warm up enough for spring here. One day it's warm, the next day we're back down to freezing or below. We're not to go above 32-35 F until Thursday of this week. We even had spits of snow this afternoon.
