VDP has no clue what this pretty shrub is and is therefore wondering if it isn't a wee bit early... The daffodils on Avenue de Paris were out already last Sunday, and that is too early, shriek... Not really surprising when you know we've had the warmest January since 1900.
Ah, they do look SO spring like!! Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew the name of that shrub, it is just gorgeous, and I always enjoy seeing daffodils. But it really is the first week of February. Very early.
ReplyDeleteK
Absolument. Vont-ils survivre à un gel?
ReplyDeleteThese are so, so lovely! I wish I knew what it was... Though I too can't believe they're blooming so early! What a strange winter it's been everywhere.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and nice to see in the depths of midwinter in Boston where everything is coated with snow.

Spring will be here soon.
We have all kinds of spring plants and flowers springing up here too, and last month was apparently the wettest January ever!
ReplyDeleteSchon Frühling bei Dir?
ReplyDeleteEgal wie sie heißen, sie sind einfach schön!
I'm amazed that spring has arrived there! We are still very much in winter here.
ReplyDeleteSpring is springing up for sure! The warmest January since 1900? I think when we were there it was the coldest June since time began! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see all that color.
Re your comment on Ocala: Don't be a "smarty" pants!

ReplyDeleteIt's gotten warm again here in Berlin too. Today was around 12 degrees. Some of the crocus are starting to come out in my MiL's garden. She is not happy. ;-)
