The current Felice Varini exhibition at la Maréchalerie, titled 'circles, roofs, façades' on a rainy end of October evening for Weekend Reflections. VDP's feed still isn't updating normally, sorry about that...
Some unusual patterns in those lines, but it works nicely at night!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to comprehend without being there and seeing but I'm intrigued.
ReplyDeletec'est curieux...je ne sais dire si j'aime ...ou pas !
ReplyDeleteWeird and wonderful French reflections Ciel..Stay cool and think positive, I'm sure all will be well soon :)
ReplyDeleteI like a lot, it's a different reflection and the line design is abstract but very gracious, as that "line" could dance! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy "long" weekend!

Very cool shots, Ciel! VDP seems to be working fine, I don't know what you mean...
ReplyDeleteThe soaking pavement certainly adds to the atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteIf the Marcel Duchamp Prize is what I think it is, Varini really deserves it.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty funky, it looks like graffiti.
ReplyDeleteinteresting art, but i like the reflections you caught below it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like circles alright. MB
ReplyDeleteEven the funky stuff makes for great reflections, Ciel!! Fun one for the day!! Enjoy your weekend -- funky or otherwise!!
ReplyDeleteQue voilà une façade fascinante, avec cet entrelacs de rouge qui le ponctue... Bien vu !
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool. You might also want to check a more local artist (that would be French) of this genre George Rousse: http://www.georgesrousse.com/
ReplyDeleteSuch an unusual combination of architecture and projected shapes. The reflections work great.
ReplyDeleteCool. The reflections just complete the picture.
ReplyDeleteCool reflections and interesting art!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely unique!
