Parking

This is a late night shot of the underground public parking beneath Notre-Dame market. There's an original old Mini Cooper parked at the back! It was VDP's first car!

Tard le soir dans le parking souterrain du marché Notre-Dame. Il y a une vieille Mini Cooper garée au fond ! C'était la première voiture de VDP !

  1. I have fond memories of riding in the back of my parent's mini cooper when we lived in England, years ago.

  3. I like the Mini Cooper... but I have no idea if all six feet of me can get in one!

  4. I wouldn't have thought of a parking garage as a place for a blog photo but it makes sense. This one is so modern and empty.

Parking in Europe is always a challenge for us, even though Carolyn and I have modest cars. We're used to wide open space.

  5. Such a clever photo today. Nicely composed.

A friend has a Cooper Mini. I have been amazed to learn that they have lost os space inside. Yesterday I saw a new Fiat Abarth 500, which was really cool.

  9. I love the Mini. They're status cars in Canada these days. One of my good friends has one, and my youngest brother has one, and they're both very proud of their cars.

  11. @ Dina: no more, no less than in many other underground parkings. Probably less.

@ all: bear in mind this isn't a modern BMW mini. It's the real thing...

  16. What a shiny floor. I've not seen that in any parking garage around here.

P.S., I'm not sure how one writes with an accent, either. =) I've been accused of having an accent but I don't write any differently than I talk.

  24. The late night timing of your shot explains why there are so many empty spaces. I normally have to drive around these places until I'm dizzy, trying to find a spot!
