L'automne place Hoche

Autumn on Place Hoche. For winter views of the beautiful, beautiful tree, see here and here. If anyone knows what these flowers are (not the dahlias), please let me know!

  6. Looks like Ameranthus to me too. It's a little late in the year for them but this year has been strange anyway. A truly beautiful tree.

  12. Ah, thank you for the photograph of the lovely tree. We stayed on Rue Hoche in the summer and I loved the area. Glad to be reading you after your break for my daily fix from Versailles! Jane x ps not sure about the flowers but il ask my son who is a gardener.
