Jeudi, c'était jour du Beaujolais nouveau. Plusieurs commerçants indépendants du quartier Saint-Louis organisaient une dégustation du cru 2013. VDP a fait une courte apparition chez Par Faim de Terroirs, la délicieuse épicerie de la rue d'Anjou. VDP n'est pas une grande fan du Beaujolais nouveau mais ah la la, le saucisson et les pâtés !

Beaujolais nouveau
Thursday was Beaujolais Nouveau day! Several independent shops of Saint-Louis neighbourhood had teamed up to celebrate the 2013 new wine. VDP made a quick appearance at Par Faim de Terroirs, the lovely little deli! IMHO, Beaujolais Nouveau is largely overrated but oh the cured sausage and oh the pâté!
Oh, YUMMMMM!! That looks so delicious!! Guess maybe I'd better get up from my desk and go to the kitchen!! Have a great weekend, Ciel!
