This is another Giuseppe Penone exhibit at the palace, it is called 'Spazio di luce' (space of light) and is made of bronze.
Une autre œuvre de Giuseppe Penone au château, intitulée 'Spazio di luce' (espace de lumière), elle a été exécutée en bronze.
Probably not one of my favorites, but it is unique and different and you got some great shots! Hope your week is off to a great start, Ciel! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a VERY big millipede.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a chorus line in which very skinny girls were all off the beat!
ReplyDeleteinteresting......
ReplyDeleteI wonder how he came up with the name? It's a strange but interesting contrast to the palace.
ReplyDeleteInteresting title.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd call this one "Insects on the March." Yesterday's sculpture is much more to my liking. As if my opinion counts...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a military defence thing to stop soldiers marching.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly contrasts sharply with the grandness of the palace!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Love the light and the contrast to the palace.
ReplyDeleteDoes it light up at night? It rather reminds me of the barbed stuff on top of prison fencing. :(
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder what the sculptor's inspiration was for this piece.
ReplyDeleteOh the imagination of the artist is a weird and wonderful thing :) I do love the angle you've taken to show us this work Ciel
ReplyDeleteGenerally, I like things made of metal, this one's pretty funky
ReplyDeleteThe 1st shot is great, wonderful light and nice composition!
ReplyDeleteNomen omen... I am speechless looking at the beauty and the creativity of this 'artist'. I hope all these works will stay in France forever.
ReplyDeleteI like the organic look to this piece (as well as the one from yesterday). I wonder what happens to these huge works of art after their first exhibition. I hope they find a good home.
ReplyDeleteje comprends pas plus
ReplyDeleteLove what VP had to say. You can keep it. Dancing spiders. MB
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a line of gigantic ants!
ReplyDeleteVery creative sculptures!
