That's an awesome capture, Ciel!! Your composition is superb! And with those skies! This one did indeed take my breath away! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteLove this. They are so charming.
ReplyDeleteI like the perspective of this shot.
ReplyDeleteInteresting lighting, Ciel.
ReplyDeleteAll that matters is that THEY thought I was harmless, right?
Nice work. Love the lighting effect. Although, of course, in American English the first word of your title is synonymous with, well, rump, booty, butt, etc.
ReplyDeleteThe cherub on the left almost looks like a real child. A lovely photo!

Haha, silly me. You know how in English we use the word derriere as a euphemism. From your post title I thought the picture would be of cherubs' behinds.
ReplyDeletetrès beau cadrage
ReplyDeletela photographe zqt meilleure que l'artiste
c'est mon avis et je le respecte
@ Bob and Dina: lol! It would be the same in French except that "derrière LES chérubins" means behind the cherubs, whereas the cherub's behinds would be "les derrières des chérubins".
ReplyDeleteCiel, thanks, I will try to commit that to memory in case it is ever needed. LOL Just like the first French phrase I learned on my first day of work in the organic garden when I volunteered at a Swiss monastery. Les soeurs de jardin told me to go over to the neighbor's farm and bring back a wagon load of FUMIER DE CHEVAL. The younger nun, who knew some English, explained that meant to bring some "horse shit" to use as fertilizer for the rhubarb. :)
ReplyDelete@ Dina: lol, yup, it's excellent fertilizer!
ReplyDeleteVery cherubic, love the light too!
ReplyDeletei love the shadows and light on this!
ReplyDeleteI'm still laughing at Dina's comment :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful cherubs.
Oh la! Inspired perspective Ciel, j'adore!
ReplyDeleteA view of the hell for the poor cherubs...
ReplyDeleteVery sweet shot. Love the 'behind' discussion. LOL
ReplyDeleteAll organic or mostly--no pesticides. MB
The cherubs look especially sweet in that lighting. :)
ReplyDeletewow Ciel, this composition is beautiful!Well done!
