  3. Interesting lighting, Ciel.

All that matters is that THEY thought I was harmless, right?

  4. Nice work. Love the lighting effect. Although, of course, in American English the first word of your title is synonymous with, well, rump, booty, butt, etc.

  5. The cherub on the left almost looks like a real child. A lovely photo!

  6. Haha, silly me. You know how in English we use the word derriere as a euphemism. From your post title I thought the picture would be of cherubs' behinds.

  8. @ Bob and Dina: lol! It would be the same in French except that "derrière LES chérubins" means behind the cherubs, whereas the cherub's behinds would be "les derrières des chérubins".

  9. Ciel, thanks, I will try to commit that to memory in case it is ever needed. LOL Just like the first French phrase I learned on my first day of work in the organic garden when I volunteered at a Swiss monastery. Les soeurs de jardin told me to go over to the neighbor's farm and bring back a wagon load of FUMIER DE CHEVAL. The younger nun, who knew some English, explained that meant to bring some "horse shit" to use as fertilizer for the rhubarb. :)

  10. @ Dina: lol, yup, it's excellent fertilizer!
