Le potager du livre

Le Potager du Livre (literally the book veg garden, in reference to the king's veg garden) is one of my favourite haunts. Lots of art books, most of them reduced and lovely cards too!

Le Potager du Livre (en référence au potager du roi) est l'une de mes librairies préférées et se situe rue de Satory. Beaucoup de livres d'art, souvent à prix imbattable et de jolies cartes aussi !

    rien que le nom j'adore. Tu as de la chance d'avoir encore une librairie, a Evry la fnac a tue la petite librairie bien sympathique

    It's wonderful that France still has such small gems. Hard way to make a living. There are few independent bookstores of any kind around here now.

    Brilliant petit bookshop Ciel..reminds me of our Elizabeths Bookshop, so good.

    Independent and even more so, small bookshops are fast disappearing so support them or be without. So much more interesting browsing here than buying online.

    I would love that place, too. Especially if I knew French...but I'll bet there are some books in English. Oui?

    Re your comment on Cedar Key: Amazingly, I hadn't even noticed those suns on the fence until I read what you wrote. Is that crazy? Or maybe I'm so used to goofy Florida decorations I pay them no mind?
