So I tried a new restaurant: Monument Café. The whole idea is that you have a buffet to help yourself from. This, above is the first course and dessert buffet. Below, my first course plate!
J'ai testé le Monument Café récemment. Le concept est sympa, un buffet (ici les entrées et desserts) à volonté ! Ci-dessous, mon assiette d'entrées !
Sure looks very healthy.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes! Healthy and delicious and I'm glad I had a late lunch today or I'd already be searching for something tasty! Of course, whatever I might find it wouldn't be as delicious as this!!
ReplyDeleteThe food looks good, but a buffet is much more of an American style of dining, isn't it? I thought the French liked to savour the experience.
ReplyDeleteThis all looks wonderful. I would not know where to start.
ReplyDeleteUmm looks good and judging from their website they cater for everyone.
ReplyDeletehmmm scrumptious :)

monumental buffet
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of the most elegant buffets I've seen Ciel, believe me it's much less 'delicate' in other parts of the world :)
ReplyDeleteI think we would call this more of a cafeteria style. Everything looks really good though! I would definitely find it hard to choose. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks oh-so-good to me!
ReplyDeleteFood prepared for a French gourmet! I think you fit the bill. Looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteBuffets are common here but I've not seen one this elegant.
May I have a bit more salami?
ReplyDeleteYou are correct Jack. Looks good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteOh those desserts -always my weakest spot.
ReplyDeleteYou lucky woman!:)
ReplyDeleteLooks Yummy!
I like a buffet. Fun to pick and choose. Your plate looks wonderful---how was it? MB
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look anything like a buffet I've ever seen, skip the main course, go right to the deserts.
ReplyDeleteI would have a bit of everything! :-)
ReplyDelete@ VP: help yourself!
ReplyDelete@ MB: not bad!
@ Wayne: patience!
