La maison de retraite...

This is what I believe to be the retirement home of the Augustinian sisters of the Immaculate Conception. It is located in Saint-Louis neighbourhood and I have found precious little information about the building.

... des soeurs Augustines de l'Immaculée Conception se trouve dans le quartier Saint-Louis. Du moins, je crois que c'est la maison de retraite, toute information complémentaire est la bienvenue !

    A building that holds its history close:) How interesting it would be to find out more! I like how both photos convey a bit of that mystery, what lives exist beyond those gates and windows...

    Maybe if you got into the habit of wandering about the place at different times of the day you'd find someone wearing a habit and you could ask about the place. :)

    Looks like a nice retirement home. If you were an Augustinian sister of the Immaculate Conception.

    The Augustinians create some incredible buildings. I graduated from Villanova University, who are affiliated with the Augustinians.
