Two days ago, I showed you the fox, the bunnies and the deer. Here's the stag, another of the animals of Olivier Roche's temporary land art exhibition in the Italian Musician's garden, as part of Le Nôtre year. I might just go back when the garden is actually open to have a closer look!
I love this series you've shared with us, Ciel!! Fun, cheerful! Hope you're having some good weather!!
ReplyDeleteI love these too! I checked out your link to his site the other day and his work is all fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI hope it opens soon! It's nice to see the trees blossoming.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I like the bright yellow.
ReplyDeleteNot very good camouflage, but the danger to the animal is much greater in France than the US.
ReplyDeleteLooking very majestic amidst the lush garden! I love the bright color the artist chose. Hoping you'll have a chance to get inside soon!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this stag is supposed to be reminiscent of the days when Versailles was an area for hunting.
ReplyDeleteYeah, go back when it is open and take more pics and show them to us. And you may have fun too. MB
ReplyDeleteThe stag fits in beautifully with its surroundings, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe sculpture is adorable and I love the flowers, an interesting Spring composition!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Looks a lovely place for an artistic walk.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like a little (tasteful) garden art. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, the stag has a strong connection to Hartford. Hart = stag. The stag is the symbol of the city. So, we are connected!
ReplyDelete(Naples, Florida, where I spend the winter, not Naples, Italy . . . sorry!)
Yes, go back and get more photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI think he may be the most impressive, those antlers are pretty special oui! You should definitely return to the scene Ciel.
ReplyDeleteUne belle couleur pour le cerf et ta photo le met bien en valeur.
ReplyDeleteDid I ever mention that one of my favorite movies is The Deer Hunter?
ReplyDeleteI had to go back and take a look a t the bunnies because I had missed them. They are really cute.
