Jonquilles et château
Ladies and gentlemen, here they are: the daffs on Avenue de Paris. Right at the end of Avenue de Paris I might add since as you can see, we are very close to the palace! These photos were taken on Easter Monday, glorious sunshine but very cold. See 2012 here, 2011 here, 2010 here and 2009 here.
Beautiful and the daffodils seem to have declared that spring is there!! Have a good week, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteah the fragrance...such beautiful flowers and well taken every year :)
ReplyDeleteGlorious! I love that you've established an annual daffodil photo tradition:) They're looking as good this year as in the past! I hope this means warmer weather is round the bend (we finally got a warm afternoon, though nights remain too cold).
ReplyDeleteYes, very close to the palace! Love springy shots. I don't know how I can be nostalgic about some place I've visited only once, but I am!
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful! Glad you braved the cold!
ReplyDeleteCold, this Spring? Surely you jest ;-) The weatherman is threatening 25C for Tuesday, I'll request they send it your way.
ReplyDeleteThe palace make for an outstanding background. I marvel at the resilience of daffodils.
Beautiful daffodils. I hope it warms up soon.
ReplyDeleteSo nice, Ciel. They sure weren't blooming much up the road in the Netherlands. COLD.
ReplyDeleteSuch delicacy. All I got this week is people beating up each other with pillows.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful shot. Nice spots of color.

ReplyDeleteThe daffs! The daffs!! Yay Spring has sprung. We are wet here. So far the wettest April EVER. The end of March was beautiful sunny and warm and now cold and wet----I feel all shook up! MB
ReplyDeleteI love the signs of spring! Just wish they'd hurry up and start sprouting here. Although I don't think I'm getting any tulips in my garden as the squirrels ate all my bulbs. :(
ReplyDeleteOur daffodils are long gone :(
ReplyDeleteStill raining here, for once let me envy your weather...
ReplyDeleteI will have my phone strapped to my body. MB
